If you travel on East Cedarville to get to and from school, you should be aware of this. East Cedarville is the road in front of the new school. Beginning the week of Thanksgiving, the road will be one lane with flaggers allowing intermittent traffic through. The road widening project for the new school will last approximately 2-3 week. If you travel this road, you may want to find an alternate route until the project concludes.
Teachers - Plan on starting the day on June 12th at the OJRHS at 8AM for Dr. Christian's closing ceremony.
From Jen Morgan--Don’t forget to write your note for or future SEVENTH graders on the board by the cafeteria!! There’s a sharpee on the wall there for you to use! The promotion ceremony is Wednesday so I’d like to make sure it is filled out for the parents to see!
On Tuesday of this week, first grade student Alan Fine is our Principal of the Day.
From the OJR Business Office:
· Please ensure staff are depositing funds daily. No receipts should be stored in desks, filing cabinets, etc. Please ensure all funds are deposited timely……and especially before staff leaves for the summer.
· Employees must submit their expense reports before leaving for the summer. Expense reports submitted more than 60 days after the expense is incurred risk not being honored.
· Employees must turn in all timesheets before leaving for the summer. Staff should not be holding on to timesheets to create a larger payroll at a later date. Please note, timesheets must be submitted within the payroll period that they were incurred.
Mark your calendars! This year's OJR Technology Academy is June 13th and 14th. More details will be sent from our tech dept..
As we think ahead to closing out Trimester 3, the following dates are important to keep in mind:
Tuesday, June 6th by 3:30PM - Tri 3 Grades Due
Friday, June 9th - 12:00PM Tri 3 Grades go live
The window to administer the EOY EDM assessment begins on May 15th. Scores for the EOY assessment need to be entered into Skyward by June 7th at 3PM.
The next ECPTA Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 6th at the Liberty Union Grill in Phoenixville. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
